Two two-hour training blocks include instruction on the proper use of theBaby Pod® 20 for pediatric transport. This course is classroom and hands-on and will cover how to correctly secure an infant for transport within the Baby Pod® 20, how to correctly utilize trans warmers for temperature control, how to attach the Baby Pod® 20 securely to stretchers, gurneys, ground and air transports, and hand carry. Recommendations will be provided on integration with other equipment. Guidance will also be provided on the care and maintenance of the Baby Pod® 20.
It is not intended as general pediatric transport training.
